About TKZ Polná

History

1911 František Sláma founds a company in Polná. He transfers his classic production of press character from his Prague factory. With the construction of a new building on the site of the present company, it's long history begins.

The 112 years of history have brought gradual development. The team grows and improves, the technological background develops and the company's premises are developed. Changes of ownership, including nationalisation and re-privatisation, take place.

Production site

Today the complex boats more than 10.000 m² of total production area. Throughout history, it has gradually expanded into its present form. The complex consists of production halls, warehouses and an administrative building.

The complex consists of several buildings. Over the course of its history, the older parts of the site have undergone building renovation and internal reorganisation.

Polná

The historic town of Polná is located in the heart of the Highlands, close to Jihlava and the D1 motorway.

In Polná you can admire not only the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Polná Castle and Manor, the Jewish town and the cemetery, but also many other historical and contemporary attractions.

Polná is alive with the present. The town is developing, growing and living a rich social life, which TKZ Polná engages in and promotes.
